If you’ve ever sat in the tub pretending to be Pierre Escargot, yelled “HUG ME BROTHA!”, or insisted that a stranger “make it shine”, you probably know Dan Schneider more than you think.

Dan Schneider is the creator of many of the most successful children’s TV shows in history, including iCarly, dan-schneiderDrake & Josh, Zoey 101, The Amanda Show, Sam & CatVictorious, Henry Danger, Game Shakers and more! With a career that stretches four decades, he became a fixture on-camera and behind the scenes in many roles, including actor, producer and screenwriter.

Dan Schneider first entered our lives as Dennis Blunden in five seasons of ABC’s Head of the Class. On the big screen, Dan appeared in feature films like The Big Picture and Better Off Dead.

Behind the camera, Dan Schneider truly came into his own–crafting multiple children’s TV classics that generations of kids have come to know and love. From Kenan & Kel to Game Shakers, Dan’s impact on Nickelodeon and some of our favorite shows is impossible to overlook. His dedication to fostering young talent has forged incredible bonds, while launching countless careers. Some names Dan has worked with include Ariana Grande, Taran Killam, Miranda Cosgrove, Victoria Justice, Drake Bell and Josh Peck.

Dan’s screenplay credits include Big Fat Liar and the film adaptation of All That’s classic sketch Good Burger, starring Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell, two more stars whose careers Dan Schneider helped launch.

On March 29, 2014, many of Dan Schneider’s former actors came together at the Kids’ Choice Awards to present him with Nickelodeon’s first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award. Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson – star of Dan Schneider-produced Kenan & Kel, All That and Good Burger – told the audience that Schneider’s comedy “has made more milk come out of more kids’ noses than anybody else.”

Today, Dan Schneider continues to create fun and cutting-edge children’s television. Dan is currently writing and producing new episodes of Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger and Game Shakers.
